Brittany O'Meara is a Licensed Professional Counselor and the owner and founder of Vis Vitae Counseling. Brittany received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Connecticut, where she contributed to advanced research in Developmental Psychology and Abnormal Psychology, pertaining to sensorimotor development in children as well as communication and expressive play in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Brittany went on to work with children and adolescents in residential treatment facilities as well as specialized academic institutions to gain extensive direct experience to support the unique needs of individuals in her care. Brittany received her Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Holistic Studies from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. As a clinician, Brittany has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families representative of a range of cultural frameworks, backgrounds and presenting issues.
